About me

Welcome to my blog! My name is Matthew Burns and I’m an infrastructure engineer with over a decade of professional experience in information technology. I have worked everywhere from the front lines of technical support to designing, building and maintaining large infrastructure projects that power the ‘cloud.’ Currently, I am a Software Engineer working remotely for Equinix Metal (formerly Packet), a bare metal cloud and edge infrastructure provider.

My current career passions are bare-metal compute management, quantum computing and site reliability engineering.
